Lincoln School to Provide Multiple Events on Local History

West Plains, MO. – Lincoln School and those backing it continue to hold events with the intent of touching on the culture of the Ozarks. Three events are planned for November, including one for tomorrow, one next Thursday, and another event on November 12th.

The first event will be the Daughters of the American Revolution reading “The Snow Day” as a part of their literacy program.

On November the 6th, from 5pm to 6pm, Ozark Vitality will be hosting a video screening on West Plains history and the work that went into the project.

Lastly, on November 12, from 5pm to 6pm, a project focused on the remembrance of the Trail of Tears and Native American history will be be presented by an archeaologist from Steelville, Doctor Aaron Witson.
