On December 13, 2025, the Mountain View Veterans Cemetery joined communities across the nation in observing the annual Wreaths Across America ceremony at 11:00 a.m. The event honors U.S. military veterans who have passed on, ensuring their service and sacrifice are remembered.

Mountain View Veterans Cemetery, one of six in Missouri, is the final resting place for 195 local veterans. The ceremony was sponsored by the Ozarks Spring Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, co-chaired by Lois Frazier and Cindy Pirch; the Josiah Howell Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution, led by President Garry Pirch; and VFW Post 3009 of Mountain View, represented by Commander Daniel Goff and District Chaplain Jay Gould.

Organizers expressed gratitude to the many individuals and groups who contributed to the event, noting that while not all could be named, each played an important role. Their support, like the service of the veterans honored, is deeply appreciated.
