Kathryn Diane (Phillips) Gorman of Licking, Missouri was born September 4, 1956 in Wichita, Kansas to Clinton and Ruby (McNair) Phillips. Diane departed this life January 3, 2026, in Licking at the age of 69.
Diane’s husband of 47 years, Sammy Gorman preceded her in death on December 25, 2020.
In addition to Sammy, Diane was preceded in death by one angel baby; her parents; a brother, William Phillips; a sister, Barbara Albright; a brother-in-law, Jerry Albright; and son-in-law, Jason Jaegers.
A former owner of a natural health business, Diane was always looking for ways to improve health naturally. She possessed a fervent love for both expanding her own understanding and for guiding others in their health educational journeys.
Oklahoma casino trips, and quality time with family and friends sharing stories of good times gone by were among her favorite pastimes.
Diane is survived by one daughter, Julie Jaegers; one son, Danny Gorman; three brothers, Johnny and his wife Rebecca Phillips, Gary Phillips, and Jamie and his wife Vanessa Phillips; two sisters, Dorothy Gabbard and Annette Medford; eight grandchildren, Dylan Jaegers, Peyton Jaegers, Mia Jaegers, Emma Jaegers, Sterling Jaegers, Aspyn Gorman, Jaxon Gorman, and Sadie Gorman; and four great-grandchildren, Bryer Jaegers, Blair Jaegers, Remington Jaegers, and Colt Jaegers. Many other friends and family members will also sadly miss her.
Memories of the strength and courage she showed when faced with heartbreak and adversity will continue to serve as a source of inspiration to her children and grandchildren. She will never be forgotten.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
