Mizzou women’s basketball will host No. 18 Ole Miss at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday at Mizzou Arena. The contest will be broadcast on SEC Network+ and the Tiger Radio Network.
The Tigers (13-8, 1-5 SEC) are coming off a loss to Florida on Sunday.
Junior guard Grace Slaughter led Mizzou in the contest with 29 points and moved into 25th on the program’s all-time scoring list. Slaughter is currently 33rd in the country and fourth in the SEC with 19.0 points this season.
Junior guard Shannon Dowell scored 23 points in just her second game back from injury. It marked the second time this season Slaughter and Dowell scored 20 or more points in the same game, the first being against Cal on Dec. 4. To begin the season, Mizzou had not had a duo accomplish this feat since 2023.
On the season, Mizzou is ranked eighth in the country and first in the SEC in 3-point percentage at 38.0 percent.
The Tigers are 20th nationally and third in the SEC with 9.0 makes from beyond the arc per game.
Individually, sophomore guard Chloe Sotell (40.0%) and junior guard Abbey Schreacke (39.3%) are fifth and sixth, respectively, in the conference in 3-point percentage.
Converting at the line, Mizzou ranks sixth in the country and first in the SEC in free-throw percentage at 79.6%.
Ole Miss enters Thursday at 16-4, including a 3-2 mark in SEC play, following a loss to Georgia on Sunday.
Head coach Yolett McPhee-McCuin is in her eighth season on the sidelines in Oxford with a 141-98 record.
Ole Miss’ roster is headlined by senior forward Cotie McMahon, who averages 18.7 points per game. McMahon was named to the All-Big Ten First Team in 2024 and 2025 while playing for Ohio State.
Mizzou leads the all-time series against Ole Miss with a 13-5 record and a 5-2 mark in Columbia.
