On January 21, 2026, Jamie L. Tasker, a resident of Birch Tree, Missouri, was taken into custody for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender, a Class D Felony.
With the assistance of the Mountain View Police Department, deputies were able to apprehend Tasker. Bond has been set at $10,000.00 cash only.
Failure to comply with Missouri’s sex offender registration laws is a serious criminal offense. These laws exist to promote transparency, accountability, and public safety. Compliance is not optional, and violations will be investigated and enforced.
