The West Plains Zizzer Boys played the second game in the home double header, taking on The Carl Junction Bulldogs. In the first game the West Plains Lady Zizzers got a great 86-45 over the Lady Bulldogs.
Previously on Tuesday night The Zizzer Boys got an 89-72 defeat over The Marshfield Blue-Jays.
1st Quarter: Ethan Miller with two three pointers for West Plains. On the first two possessions for the Carl Junction bulldogs, two jump shots; 7 points apiece. One by Rashaad Mcdonald, the next by Deacon Indicot.
Miller with a jump shot on the rebound. A foul on the next play for Carl Junction on Josiah Long shoots his first two points of the game.
A missed three by Mcdonald on the rebound. West Plains takes it back as Kraft gets the next two points.
Rashad Mcdonald for Carl Junction for two more.
Shot at the buzzer by Jared Kraft falls short.
West Plains Zizzers lead Carl Junction, 18-17 at the end of one.
2nd Quarter: Rashad Mcdonald bring Carl Junction up by one but a foul on the next possession for West Plains send Kraft back to the line for his sixth points of the night at the foul line.
Bryant Hanks with a baseline jumper brings the Bulldogs back up by one. Rebound Josiah Long for two is good, 21-22 West Plains
Carl Junction with their fifth turnover of the night. Kraft tries another shot but looses it for West Plains on a bad pass. Rebound and shot up and good by Junior, Kolby Martin for the Bulldogs.
23-22 the score for the Bulldogs as two more turnovers are made by both teams with under four minutes to go.
Rebound by Indicot for West Plains, briefly stolen by Kraft but taken back by Bryant Hanks for the Bulldogs. A pushing foul called on Jacob Moore for West Plains.
In the corner, a three by Daterell Mcdonald. Two. One before and one after a timeout call by West Plains with 2 ½ minutes to go.

Kraft loses the ball on the rebound and a foul on Josiah Long for West Plains with 59 seconds left. Ball inbounded by Brady Pant for The Bulldogs but lost again.

HALFTIME- Carl Junction Bulldogs: 28/ West Plains Zizzers: 22
3rd Quarter: Carl Junction loses the ball and gets a technical foul in the first two minutes. West Plains with the basketball but turns it over twice before Kraft shoots a three to make it 28-25.
Kraft shoots one free throw to make it two, now 28-26.
Another three on the rebound by Caleb Cobb as West Plains takes a one point lead, 29-28. Ball stays with west plains and a three footer by Kraft, West Plains up by three with 5:25 to go, 31-28.
Brody Pant with a three ball attempt fall short but loss. 9 turnovers for West Plains, 8 for Carl Junction.
No foul trouble for West Plains.
Shot blocked by Jared Kraft who passes to Caleb Cobb. Jacob Moore with the ball back to Kraft for three no good. Hanks steals for Carl Junction and puts the ball up and he ties the game at 31.
And the third three by Kraft, back to a four point lead, 34-31. 3:10 to go in the ballgame. Stays with West Plains and ball is put in for another three by Aden Judd.
Another three good by Josiah Long. Ball taken back by Daetrell Mcdonald for two and completes the play at the line, 42-35
Taken back and put up for three more by Josiah Long.
With 15 seconds left, another baseline shot by Daterell Mcdonald is good.
West Plains with another turnover which follows a timeout. West Plains up 46-37 with 5:09 to go in the ballgame.
Carl Junction nearly turns the ball over and a three point play by Gavin Kenslow brings West Plains up by twelve.
Two more by Josiah Long as Carl Junction keeps trying for a three but just cannot make it. Kraft with the basketball scores on the 3-2 break. Brady Pant scores on the other end on the rebound but a foul call sends Jared Kraft back to the line with 2:14 to go in the ballgame.
Foul on West Plains and Rashaad Mcdonald goes back to the line for two. Carl Junction comes back with it but a foul and Kraft makes two more.
Josiah Long pulls the back off after Carl Junction loses the ball and scores to make it another 13 point lead.
In the final minute, West Plains fouls Kolby Martin for the 3rd time. Josiah Long makes two free throws to make it 60-43. Ball stolen by Carl Junction but taken away by Aden Judd who passes to Jared Kraft.
