The National Weather Service states that chances for severe weather have increased for tomorrow, with all details outlined in their latest information packet.
storm riskTo outline, nearly the entire primary listening area is in the 2/5 severe storm risk category, with two rounds of storms being likely. Highest risk chances lie further west, and get generally lighter further east.
All hazards are possible with these storms, with large hail up to 2 inches in diameter, up to 70mph wind gusts, and possible tornadoes.
Severe thunderstorms will start in the afternoon to evening, with supercell thunderstorms merging into a squall line as we go into the night.
The National Weather Service adds that another round of severe weather is likely to form into this coming Tuesday as well, leaving us with another night to watch.
