Mountain View, MO. – The Mountain View Chamber of Commerce held its annual Awards Banquet this past Saturday, recognizing members of the community whose efforts have helped propel the town forward over the past year.
Walt Belcher was the keynote speaker for the event.

The awards for the evening were split into five categories.
The Business of the Year went to Vendors Avenue.
Business Entreprenuer of the Year belonged to Cariss Whitten of Regen Farmhouse.
Youth of the Year was recognized as Sarina Cox.
Volunteer of the Year was appointed to Mercy St. Francis Auxiliary.
Lastly, the Lifetime Achievement Award was granted to Betty Hockman.
A costume contest was also held based on the evening theme, which was “western”.
