Two drivers were injured Monday morning in a two‑vehicle crash south of Ozark on Highway J.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened at 7:45 a.m. when a northbound 2022 Mack Granite ran off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected, and struck a southbound 2025 Toyota RAV4. Troopers say the Mack then overturned.
The truck’s driver, a 42‑year‑old man from Mountain Home, Arkansas, was not wearing a seat belt and suffered moderate injuries. The RAV4’s driver, a 54‑year‑old woman from Gainesville, also sustained moderate injuries.

Both were taken by ambulance to Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home.
