This special exhibition will highlight three-dimensional and dimensional artwork—pieces that go beyond the traditional flat canvas and explore creativity through form, texture, and space. Artists working in ceramics, woodworking, fiber arts, glass, metal, mixed media, and other sculptural or functional forms are encouraged to submit their work.

Entry dates for the show will be May 28 through May 31 at the Harlin Museum. The exhibit will open to the public on June 4 and run through July 11.  Entry fees begin at $20, with discounted rates for additional pieces.

“Beyond the Canvas” is designed to be a fun and engaging showcase of art that truly stands out. From handcrafted functional pieces to imaginative one-of-a-kind creations, the exhibit will offer visitors a chance to experience art from every angle.

The Harlin Museum, located in West Plains, is open Thursday through Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. For more information about submitting artwork, contact the museum at 417-256-7801 or email Info@HarlinMuseum.com. Updates can also be found on the museum’s Facebook page.

Artists of all experience levels are encouraged to participate in this creative community event.
