Mountain Home, AR. – This week is National Library Week, giving recognition to the establishments that help provide knowledge and community to citizens around them. The Baxter County Library will be doing a giveaway this week to celebrate.
This is centered around people sharing photos on social media and tagging the Donald W. Reynolds Library to enter to win.
Photos are focused on a new theme each day.
Daily themes inlcude:
Maker Monday: Share something you’ve created, from food to art to crafts.
Teamwork Tuesday: Showing off your team or reading friends in any capacity.
Wordy Wednesday: Sharing your favorite word, quote, or line from a book.
Throwback Thursday: Sharing a favorite memory from the past.
Fan Friday: Showing off your favorite authors, characters, or series from books.
Story Time Saturday: Share a meaningful memory about a libary.
Those who win the give away will receive a library swag bag, which includes a library tote bag, with multiple books, puplications and baubles inside. Winners of the contest will be announced on April 27th.
In addition, the library will also be holding a canned food drive, with the benefit of using donated canned goods, nonperishable items, or hygiene items to receive up to $50 in overdue fines being forgiven.
