Izard County Sheriff’s Office Releases Weekly Incarceration Report for Week Ending With May 19, 2025

Melbourne, AR – The Izard County Sheriff’s Office, under the direction of Sheriff Charley Melton, has released its weekly incarceration report for the week ending May 19, 2025, detailing a range of arrests across the county. All individuals listed are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Arrests for the Week Include:

  • Mariano Tolentino, 39, of Melbourne – Arrested on May 10 for operating a vehicle with a fictitious license plate, no insurance, and no driver’s license.

  • Jonathan Corter, 39, of Sidney – Arrested on May 13 for aggravated assault on a family or household member, criminal mischief, and a failure to appear warrant from Izard County District Court.

  • Cole Breeden, 32, of Horseshoe Bend – Arrested on May 13 for domestic battery in the third degree.

  • Randy Baxter, 64, of Calico Rock – Arrested on May 14 for domestic battery 3rd degree, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

  • Lee Hagen, 57, of Horseshoe Bend – Arrested on May 14 for contempt of court.

  • Nathan Hellums, 34, of Hardy – Arrested on May 14 on a warrant for failure to appear issued by the Izard County Circuit Court.

  • Madison Burchett, 23, of Melbourne – Arrested on May 15 on a warrant for battery 3rd degree from the Izard County District Court.

  • Leeland Slusher, 62, of Horseshoe Bend – Arrested on May 15 for driving left of center, driving while intoxicated (DWI), and refusal to submit to a chemical test.

  • James Powell, 20, of Melbourne – Arrested on May 15 and charged with multiple offenses including:

    • Two counts of rape

    • Three counts of sexual assault

    • Two counts of sexual indecency with a child

    • Employing or consenting to the use of a child in a sexual performance

    • Resisting arrest

  • Kaiden Withrow, 23, of Calico Rock – Arrested on May 16 for possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest.

  • Evans Elms, 83, of Melbourne – Arrested on May 16 for domestic battery 3rd degree.

  • Hunter Sells, 28, of Horseshoe Bend – Arrested on May 17 for domestic battery 3rd degree and possession of an instrument of crime.

  • Joseph McGowen, 51, of Calico Rock – Arrested on May 18 for criminal use of a prohibited weapon, criminal mischief, and violations of parole/probation conditions.
