MARION COUNTY, Ark. — The Marion County Sheriff’s Office released its weekly activity report summarizing calls for service, arrests, investigations, and detention center activity for the week ending Feb. 13.
According to the sheriff’s office, deputies responded to a total of 76 calls for service during the reporting period. Those calls included one domestic disturbance and two wellbeing checks.
Law enforcement activity during the week resulted in one misdemeanor arrest and one felony arrest. Deputies also assisted with or investigated two traffic accidents and completed 23 incident reports.
Investigators reported progress on several cases, closing one felony investigation and conducting nine interviews related to ongoing investigations. In addition, one search warrant was executed in connection with an active case, and 13 investigative conferences were completed.
At the Marion County Detention Center, officials reported that 14 inmates were booked and 14 inmates were released during the week. The facility ended the reporting period with a total inmate population of 44.
