Sharp County Arrests Range from Drug-Related Charges to Domestic Battering

ASH FLAT, Ark. — The Sharp County Sheriff’s Office has released its weekly incarceration report for the week of Sept. 22 through Sept. 29, 2025. Chief Deputy Kevin “Bart” Simpson reported the following arrests.

  • Talon Blackhawk, 27, of Cord, was arrested for direct contempt of court.

  • James Dexter, 37, of Cherokee Village, was arrested for careless or prohibited driving and driving while intoxicated, first offense.

  • Christopher Dunlap, 48, of Paragould, was arrested for failure to appear on a felony charge.

  • Brian Ivie, 52, of Evening Shade, was arrested for introducing a controlled substance into another body (I, II) and endangering the welfare of a minor, first degree, with risk of death or physical injury to a child under 10.

  • Margaret Ivie, 27, of Evening Shade, was arrested for introducing a controlled substance into another body (I, II) and endangering the welfare of a minor, first degree.

  • Shannon Jones, 48, of Ash Flat, was arrested for aggravated assault on a family or household member and domestic battering, third degree.

  • Brent Kingcade, 42, of Crossett, was arrested for violation of suspension or probation.

  • Richard Norris, 49, of Ash Flat, was arrested for two counts of third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

  • Deon Rynders, 23, of Lonoke, was arrested for violation of suspension or probation and being held for another county or state.

The sheriff’s office reminds the public that all individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
