Sharp County, AR – The Sharp County Sheriff’s Office has released its weekly report detailing community service hours completed by inmates, as well as recent arrests made within the county. According to Chief Deputy Kevin “Bart” Simpson, a total of 288 cumulative community service hours were completed by participating individuals between May 4 and May 10, 2025.
The community service program, coordinated by Brian Watson, allows inmates to work off fines while providing valuable services to the community. During the reported week, inmate labor was utilized in several locations, including:

These efforts help maintain public spaces and support local initiatives, benefiting both the community and participating individuals.
