Willow Springs, Mo. – The 2022 Willow Open Chess Tournament will be held on next Saturday, March 26 with a 9 a.m. check in time. The tournament will be held at the Willow Springs High School at the Bears Den (Tornado Shelter) 215 W. 4th Street in Willow Springs.
There will be School Age and Adult sections of play. The School Age section will be for all individuals who are K-8 and High School students and there will not be separate divisions for younger age categories.
The first rounds will begin at 9:30 a.m. with up to five rounds played. Awards will be presented for the top three teams, top three individuals, and medals will be presented for fourth to tenth places.
