The Howell County Health Department is reporting an additional twenty-two cases of COVID-19 have been identified in the county. This brings the year to date total number of cases to two hundred and forty-one.
Currently, there are fifty-five known active cases in Howell county. Of these fifty-five active cases, one is currently hospitalized with COVID-19. Seventeen of the new cases reside in the West Plains area, three live in the Willow Springs area, one lives in the Mtn. View area and one in the Koshkonong area.
Contactt investigations into these cases are ongoing. Positive cases and significant exposures to cases are currently being notified and are being place on isolation or quarantine. Once the investigations are completed the public will be notified of the Department’s findings.
