Missouri State University-West Plains (MSU-WP) Jazz Ensemble performed at the Gainesville Lion’s Club Dec. 11, for the organization’s year-end gala. The event gave an opportunity to provide entertainment to the citizens of Gainesville while showcasing the talents of university students and members of our community. In addition to the Jazz Ensemble, MSU-WP’s Music Program offers a University/Community Band, pep band, small ensembles and private lessons.
New this year, MSU-WP will begin offering a Community Choir program, open to students and the community who have an interest in choir. There is a one-credit course available in the spring semester for students interested.
