Thursday afternoon an accident occurred three miles north of Houston on Highway 17 when a 2005 Mazda 3, driven by a 16-year-old Bucyrus girl was struck by a 2023 Honda motorcycle driven by a 29-year-old Bucyrus man.
The Mazda was making a left hand turn off of Highway 17 as the Honda motorcycle started to pass causing the motorcycle to strike the car.

The driver of the motorcycle was taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston with moderate injuries.
