Assault Call Leads to Drug Arrest in Mountain Grove

In the early hours of October 8, 2025, Mountain Grove police responded to an assault report at a local residence. Officer Sanders, Master Patrolman Meacham, and Officer Paepke arrived on scene around 12:10 a.m. and encountered Lyndsay Patterson, who claimed an unidentified male had threatened her with brass knuckles and stolen her car keys.

While investigating, officers discovered Patterson’s missing wallet and keys on the hood of her car. She also reported a black zip-up bag and $150 in cash were missing. After gaining permission to search the residence, officers located the bag in the kitchen sink. Inside, they found an unlabeled pill bottle containing a white crystal substance suspected to be methamphetamine, which later tested positive.
