From Baxter County Sherriff John Montgomery:
The Baxter County Sheriff’s Foundation purchased and donated five (5) Biometric FBI Certified portable fingerprint sensor devices. The portable device will be used by Sheriff’s Patrol Deputies, Criminal Investigators and other Sheriff Office Personnel.
The fingerprint sensor is a valuable tool that can view and monitor information after the fingerprint is scanned on the screen, giving a positive identification of anyone in the State and National fingerprint database. This will allow deputies to quickly obtain the identity of an unknown suspect and/or unidentified person at the scene of a crime or on the roadside.
At a cost of more than $14,000, we are extremely grateful for this gift and for the continued support from the Foundation.
