Man with Warrants Arrested After Dirt Bike Chase and Manhunt in Howell County

From the Howell County Sherriff’s Department:

On May 15, 2025 at approximately 10:02 PM, Howell County deputies arrested 50-year-old Kenneth Dobbs following a dirt bike pursuit and foot chase near US-160. Deputy First Class Robert Malone attempted a traffic stop after spotting Dobbs riding a dirt bike on the highway. Dobbs fled, eventually abandoning the bike and fleeing on foot into a wooded area. A drone and K-9 unit were deployed, and Dobbs was located hiding in bushes approximately an hour later. He was taken into custody without incident.
Kenneth  Dobbs, who admitted he fled due to outstanding warrants, was confirmed to have multiple warrants out of Howell County and is also on probation in Ozark County. Dobbs did not possess a valid driver’s license or insurance, and his license had expired in 2018.
Howell County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arranged for the dirt bike to be towed, and an investigation is ongoing to determine its ownership. Dobbs was booked at the Howell County Adult Detention Center on his warrants, and new charges are being reviewed by the Howell County Prosecutor.
