It’s been a busy week for Operation Relentless Pursuit as Operation Relentless Pursuit Leads to Multiple Felony Arrests in Howell County.
As part of an ongoing effort to target and apprehend violent offenders and individuals with outstanding felony warrants, Operation Relentless Pursuit (ORP), in collaboration with the Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop G and the Howell County Sheriff’s Office, has successfully apprehended multiple suspects in recent enforcement actions across the county.
On May 15, 2025, MSHP Troop G Officers, ORP Investigators and Howell County Deputies arrested Robert Long, 46, of Mountain View, on a felony no-bond warrant issued out of Howell County. The warrant stems from multiple serious charges including:
Sodomy 1st Degree – Victim less than 12 years
Statutory Sodomy – Deviate Sexual Intercourse with victim less than 12 years
Rape 1st Degree – Victim less than 12 years
Statutory Rape 1st Degree – Victim less than 12 years
Child Molestation 1st Degree
Long was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Howell County Adult Detention Center, where he is being held on the no-bond warrant.

In related enforcement actions by Howell County Sheriff’s Office and Operation Relentless Pursuit:
Charles J. Dickinson, 45, of West Plains, was arrested on a felony warrant for Assault 3rd Degree – Special Victim (Felony D).

Kimberly M. Thompson, 35, of West Plains, was arrested on two felony warrants for Abuse or Neglect of a Child and Endangering the Welfare of a Child 1st Degree.

Jason E. Draheim, 38, of West Plains, was arrested for Failure to Appear (FTA) on a Class E Felony indictment by grand jury.

These arrests reflect the ongoing commitment of Operation Relentless Pursuit to pursue and bring to justice individuals who pose a serious threat to public safety. The investigation into each case remains ongoing, and all suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Operation Relentless Pursuit is a multi-agency initiative aimed at identifying and arresting violent fugitives and repeat offenders in southern Missouri. The Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Troop G, along with local law enforcement partners, continues to prioritize the safety of Missouri communities through proactive enforcement and strategic operations.
