WEST PLAINS, Mo. — A West Plains non-profit is expanding.
Birthday Blessings, a not-for-profit that provides gifts, hygiene essentials, and birthday party items for foster and at-risk children in south-central and north-eastern Missouri, announced last week that they are expanding to the 45th Judicial Circuit, which covers Lincoln and Pike counties.
Currently, the group serves the 37th Judicial Circuit of Howell, Oregon, Shannon, and Carter counties, as well as 44th Circuit covering Douglas, Ozark, and Wright counties. The organization then expanded into Marion, Shelby and Macon counties.
There are about 180 foster children in the 45th Circuit, according to group estimates.
