The Missouri State Highway Patrol Water Patrol has reported a boating accident on the Current River near Van Buren on Sunday.
The accident occurred when two boats collided head on in shallow water. The drivers were a 60-year-old Sikeston man and a 33-year-old Gideon man.

A 12-year-old Gideon Juvenile sustained minor injuries, no other injuries were reported.
