West Plains, Mo. – The Boil Water Advisory for Public Water District #2 in Howell County has been lifted as of noon Thursday, March 17.
This advisory was because of maintenance being done to repair a line leak on State Route BB. This affected all the water patrons of the Junction Hill route 2 System on north of the intersection of County Road 1280 & State Route BB. Anytime maintenance is done on a water line, it could cause possible water contamination, requiring the need for everyone to boil their water. This boil advisory did not include patrons in the area southwest of West Plains or the patrons of the Brandsville System.
The Public Water District thanks the community for their patience as maintenance was performed. For more information, contact Robert Hatley at the Districts office, (417) 256-8871.
