Cabool, MO. – Cabool residents received a small scare yesterday when they were briefly asked to leave their homes when a gas leak occurred.
The Cabool Police Department confirmed this happened when a fiber optics company was installing new lines, when they struck an unmarked gas line connected to an abandoned residence nearby in the 4pm hour.

Southern Missouri Natural Gas responded quickly to the call, and all residents could return to their homes by 6pm.
