A 78-year-old Houston woman sustained serious injuries on Tuesday when a tire on her 2001 Ford Explorer failed two miles north of Cabool on Highway 63.
The tire failing caused the explorer to overturn and go off the roadway. She was flown to Cox South in Springfield for treatment of her serious injuries.
