Van Buren, MO. – The Carter County Sheriff’s Office appears to have posted the first in their own “Wanted Wednesday” series, this time featuring someone arrested earlier this year.
The wanted individual is Mercedes Jaco, who was taken into custody in May of this year after dressing as a man and attempting to fraudulently use someone’s debit card to withdraw funds.

Jaco is being sought on a no-bond warrant, and those with information on her whereabouts are asked to call 573-323-4510 to provide it.
