Charges have been filed on a man who fled from Howell County Sherriff’s Deputies on Saturday. According to the Probable Cause Statement, Jeffery Lee Otis Gould attempted to hit a deputy with his car, then failed to yield to lights and sirens of the patrol vehicle. Once his vehicle ran out of gas Gould attempted to flee on foot, Gould was captured and was in possession of narcotics and paraphernalia.
He is facing charges of Assault 1st Degree or Attempt on a Special Subject, Two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Resisting Arrest by Fleeing, and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.
He was booked into the Howell County Jail with a $100,000 cash or corporate surety bond.
