Texas County, MO. – A Michigan woman that was arrested last month for driving while on cocaine has had a judge assigned to her case. The arrest occurred due to her calling the police as a result of drug induced hallucinations.
This event happened on April 27th, with a Missouri State Highway Patrolman responding to a single-vehicle crash. Two women were found in the vehicle, with the driver identified as Jenna Sparks, born 2003 of Bay City, Michigan.
Sparks had initially called law enforcement, believing she was being chased by a man with a gun, and crashed the vehicle. During the investigation, Sparks similarly believed that she was talking on the phone when no call was connected, and that voices coming from police communication devices were people talking behind her. Sparks additionally reported to have used cocaine that day prior to driving.
Sparks is facing two misdemeanors and one felony charge in related to the event.
Judge Brendon Fox has been assigned to the proceedings.
