Andrea Mathes has recently started an Costumes For Kids – Howell County. Their goal is to collect donations of new or gently used costumes, launder them, and allow struggling families to “shop” through them at zero cost to them.
She got the idea for Costumes For Kids after her daughter mentioned how heartbreaking it was seeing kids at her school who couldn’t afford costumes for their class Halloween events.

Costumes for Kids is located in West Plains, MO and currently accepting donations of:
- new or gently used Halloween costumes in all sizes
- new or gently used accessories like jewelry, plastic princess shoes, etc.
- new or gently used trick or treat bags or buckets
