The Missouri State Highway Patrol will be out in full force for this Fourth of July Holiday weekend trying to make the roadways a safe place for all. There will be extra patrol on duty in attempts to keep the roads cleared of impaired drivers and making sure everyone gets home safe.
There were 382 crashes, 159 injuries and 8 fatalities during last years counting period. This years counting period will go from 6:00 p.m. Thursday July 3rd through 11:59 p.m. Sunday.
