Driver from Myrtle Injured Near Thayer

Thayer, MO. – A one-vehicle crash that occurred on Saturday, November the 12th, has left a driver from Myrtle injured.

Early in the day, a 2000 Chevy Silverado was being driven Westbound on Highway 142 by Kenneth Walker, 70 of Myrtle. At 5:30am, Walker travelled off the right side of the roadway two miles east of Thayer. The vehicle then overturned and was totaled in the accident.

Walker was wearing his safety device and suffered moderate injuries in the accident. He was transported by ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains for treatment.

This accident was investigated by Corporal C.A. Kimes of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G.
