Missourians Bag Over 93,000 Deer In First Weekend, Texas County 2nd in State

Texas County, MO. – With the first weekend of November Firearms season concluded, Missouri hunters have claimed over 93,000 deer, and Texas County has come in 2nd for the overall most deer harvested in the state as of this morning at 7:30am.

The only county with a lead on Texas County is Franklin County, with an over 200 head count gap between the two at 1960. Still, this puts Texas County at an impressive number at 1725, given the 114 counties within the state.
