Driver Seriously Injured in Fiery Crash

A 57-year-old man from Fulton, Missouri, sustained serious injuries in a crash that occurred Tuesday morning on Highway 21 in Centerville, Reynolds County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened at approximately 9:35 a.m. when a 2013 Kenworth truck traveling southbound ran off the right side of the roadway. The vehicle struck the ground, overturned, and subsequently caught fire.

The driver, whose name has not been released, was transported by air ambulance to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis. His condition was reported as serious at the time of transport. The extent of his injuries remains unknown. The vehicle was totaled in the crash and was towed from the scene.
