In continued efforts to support Arkansans impacted by the severe storms, tornadoes, and flooding that occurred between March 14–15 and April 2–22, FEMA, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), and the State of Arkansas are opening four new Disaster Recovery Centers across the state this week.
The new in-person assistance locations are opening in Clark, Crittenden, Desha, and Fulton counties, providing face-to-face help for residents affected by the recent natural disasters. These additions complement the multiple sites already in operation.
Eligible homeowners and renters from a range of counties—including Greene, Hot Spring, Independence, Izard, Jackson, Lawrence, Randolph, Sharp, and Stone for the March disaster, and Clark, Clay, Craighead, Crittenden, Desha, Fulton, Hot Spring, Jackson, Miller, Ouachita, Pulaski, Randolph, Saline, Sharp, St. Francis, and White for the April events—are encouraged to seek assistance.
Each recovery center offers vital resources, including help with FEMA applications, guidance on available aid, and information from the SBA for businesses and individuals needing financial recovery support.
