A two vehicle accident three mile South of West Plains on Highway 17 left four people with injuries. A 2011 Ford Fusion driven by a 17-year-old female from West Plains pulled into the path of a 2009 Cadillac CTS driven by a 30-year-old Thayer woman, both vehicles travelled off the right side of the highway. The 17-year-old Fusion driver was transported by private vehicle for medical care, the driver of the Cadillac and two passengers, a 32-year-old male and a 8-year-old male were all transported to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains with moderate injuries.
