The Fulton County Fair is inviting participants of all ages to join in the fun with its annual Cookie Jar Contest and Auction, taking place Saturday, July 19.
The event kicks off with a bake sale at 9:00 a.m., followed by the highly anticipated Cookie Jar Auction at 10:00 a.m. All proceeds from the auction will benefit the Fulton County Fair Scholarship Fund.
Participants must check in their decorated cookie jars by 4:00 p.m. on Monday, July 14. To ensure cookie freshness, jars can be filled with homemade or store-bought cookies and brought on Friday, July 18, or the morning of the auction.
Jars must be glass or clear plastic with a wide mouth, and at least ½ gallon in size. Decorations may follow any theme, but judging will be based solely on the appearance and creativity of the jars—not the cookies inside.
All entries become property of the Fulton County Fair and will be sold at the Cookie Jar Scholarship Auction. For more information, call 870-291-1087.
