Press Release from the Howell County Commission:
In a joint effort to enhance roadway safety, Howell County and the Missouri Department of Transportation (MODoT) have successfully realigned the intersection of County Road 7110 and CC Highway. The new intersection, now located approximately 300 feet west of its original position, offers improved sight distance for drivers entering the highway—addressing a long-standing safety concern.
The project was made possible through an agreement with the adjoining landowner, who conveyed the necessary right-of-way to the County in exchange for vacating approximately 800 feet of the existing county road. MODoT has completed construction of the new entrance from CC Highway, and Howell County’s Southern District Road & Bridge crews are finalizing the connection.
This infrastructure improvement is funded by the Howell County ½ cent capital improvement tax, which continues to support vital upgrades across the county.
