On 12/31/25, Darron Bolton was arrested and booked into jail for Statutory Rape, Child Molestation 1st Degree, Sexual Misconduct Involving a Child under 15, and Statutory Sodomy following an investigation lead by Deputy Sherman. A Search Warrant was issued and served at Darron’s residence and additional evidence was collected.

Probable Cause Statement stated:

According to investigators, the case began on December 21, 2025, when Witness 1 reported that Bolton had confessed to engaging in sexual acts with a juvenile beginning when she was about 13 years old and continuing until she was approximately 15 to 16. Witness 1 told deputies she wished to pursue charges and would fully cooperate with law enforcement and the Division of Family Services.

A forensic interview with the juvenile was conducted on December 30, 2025, in Springfield. During that interview, the victim disclosed repeated incidents of sexual abuse. She stated the abuse occurred primarily in the Bolton family vehicle and at the residence. The victim also described a pregnancy scare at age 14 and reported that Bolton provided her with marijuana and alcohol, telling her it would “make it hurt less.”

Two additional juvenile witnesses corroborated details about the vehicle being a primary location for the alleged abuse.
