On the evening of September 2, 2025, at approximately 8:35 p.m., Deputy Tyler Ryan of the Howell County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a suspicious male at the Star Mart in Pomona, Missouri.
Upon arrival in the area, deputies located the individual’s vehicle, a black Chevy Colorado, parked at Conley’s in Pomona. The driver, identified as 34-year-old Braden Farrokhian, was contacted by deputies.
During the course of the investigation, Mr. Farrokhian displayed signs of impairment and was administered a series of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, which he failed. A search of the vehicle revealed a glass smoking device containing a white crystallized substance that later tested positive for methamphetamine, as well as a small plastic baggie.
