Butler Children’s Park is getting a summer upgrade as crews began installing shade structures around the splash pad on Monday. New playground equipment is also being added throughout the week, bringing fresh excitement to the popular family destination at 1135 W. Broadway.
Some areas of the park may be temporarily taped off as work continues. The City of West Plains and the West Plains Parks and Recreation Department are asking for the public’s patience during the improvement process and encourage families to stop by and see the progress.
The splash pad remains open and fully operational from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, free of charge.
