Curious about the elusive amphibians hiding in Missouri’s forests, caves, and streams? The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) invites the public to explore the hidden world of salamanders during a free virtual program on Wednesday, May 29, from 3 to 4 p.m.

Hosted by the MDC’s Springfield Conservation Nature Center, the program titled “Amphibians and Reptiles: Salamanders of Missouri” will be led by MDC Naturalist Jordi Raos, who will highlight various species of salamanders found across the state.
