Licking, MO. – A woman from licking is facing multiple charges after stealing a car, driving while intoxicated, crashing the vehicle, and resisting arrest.
Licking PD officers responded to a call of a car theft on May 19th. After speaking to the victim, they found that Leah Maltsberger, born 2007, had taken the victim’s vehicle while she was at work.

Maltsberger was later found on Deer Lick Street after crashing the vehicle, and was found to be intoxicated and with no drivers license. She was then taken into custody and resisted arrest multiple times.
Charges in this case now include felony 1st Degree Tampering with a Motor Vehicle, misdemeanor DWI, and misdemeanor Operating a Vehicle on a Highway Without a Valid License.
