Lions Club Free Eye Screening a Success Despite Rainy Weather

Willow Springs, MO — The Willow Springs Lions Club is pleased to announce the successful completion of its Free Eye Screening Event held on Monday, July 15, at the Willow Springs Public Library.

Despite the rainy weather, the community turned out in support of the initiative, with a total of 38 individuals screened throughout the day. Of those, six individuals were identified as needing further evaluation and were referred to an optometrist or ophthalmologist for additional care.

Catching issues early can make a real difference in someone’s quality of life.”

The Lions Club extends its thanks to the Willow Springs Public Library for providing the space and to all the volunteers who made the event possible. The Club remains committed to continuing its vision-focused programs and encourages residents to watch for future health initiatives.
