The West Plains Police Department received a report of a Stihl 500I chainsaw being stolen off of a flatbed truck on the 1000 block of 4th street in west Plains. This report was given on June 2nd 2025.
On June 4th the West Plains Police Department received information Washington Avenue Pawn that suspect Ricky Rost was attempting to sell or pawn that chainsaw.

Rost was arrested and charged with Felony Stealing.
