Colonel Michael A. Turner, superintendent of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, announces that the Missouri State Highway Patrol will again participate in Project Blue Light. Project Blue Light was started by Concerns of Police Survivors in paying tribute to fallen officers and showing support for law enforcement. General Headquarters, division offices, and troop headquarters buildings will display blue lights starting Monday, November 24, 2025, through Friday, January 2, 2026.
31 members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol have given their lives providing service and protection to Missouri’s citizens. Participating in Project Blue Light is a way to honor those 31 troopers and the more than 700 other law enforcement officers in Missouri who have made the ultimate sacrifice while performing their duties.
