Some Missouri senators want to keep local entities from imposing what they believe to be overreaching mandates on their citizens.
Senator Karla Eslinger of Wasola says Senate Bill 702 is legislation that seeks to create new provisions relating to COVID-19 vaccination requirements. This bill will prevent businesses and publicly funded organizations from requiring masks or COVID-19 vaccinations.
At the same time, other ideas relating to health care continue to move through the process this session.
Senator Steven Roberts of St. Louis says Senate Bill 973 would establish the “Truth in Medicine Act” that would require organizations to provide accurate and unbiased information about reproductive options.
