On July 29th Judge Bloodworth ruled in favor of the Shannon County Sheriff’s Department, that they may continue operating after the county commission had notified them that Deputies and some staff would be cut due to budget concerns. See the original story here.
Today the lawyer for the commission Ivan Schraeder has filed a motion to amend the judgement, see the document below. This scheduled to go before the judge on August 18th. 2025
